Michael Tobias

Michael Tobias is a cofounder and board member of Jewish Records Indexing-Poland, president of the Jewish Genealogical Society of Great Britain, honorary research fellow-genealogical studies, the University of Strathclyde, and former vice president of programming for Jewish Gen Inc. He was a database matching consultant for the International Commission on Holocaust Era Insurance Claims. Michael received the International Association of Jewish Genealogical Societies Lifetime Achievement Award in 2011. He was awarded the OBE for services to the Jewish community in 2021.
