Robert Satloff

Robert Satloff has served for nearly 30 years as executive director of the Washington Institute, America’s preeminent think tank focused exclusively on Middle East politics and US policy. An expert on Arab and Islamic politics as well as US Middle East policy, Robert has written and spoken widely on the Arab-Israeli peace process, Iran’s nuclear and regional ambitions, and the challenge of political Islam. In addition, he has served for the past 18 years as host of Dakhil Washington (“Inside Washington”), a weekly news and public affairs show on al-Hurra. A historian by training, Robert is the author of the best-selling Among the Righteous: Lost Stories of the Holocaust’s Long Reach into Arab Lands (2006), which was made into a documentary film and broadcast around the world on PBS, ARTE, and al-Hurra.
