About Wayne Duvenage
Wayne Duvenage was schooled in KwaZulu Natal and is a BS graduate of the University of Natal. Much of Wayne’s working life was spent in the transport and tourism industries, where he served as the chief executive at Avis from 2007 to 2012. He also occupied board member positions at the SA Vehicle Renting and Leasing Association (SAVRALA) and the Tourism Business Council of SA (TBCSA). Wayne was a founding member of the South African civil action organization OUTA (Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse), and in 2016 he became its CEO. Today, OUTA is regarded as a leading civil activist organization in challenging the abuse of authority within the public sector in South Africa.
