Two Extraordinary Women: Emma Goldman and Golda Meir

Wednesday 10.01.2024

Summary

Emma Goldman and Golda Meir rebelled against their traditional backgrounds. They both believed passionately in social justice and women’s rights. Many of the ideas that shaped them were born in the ‘melting pot’ that was immigrant America. However, their destinies were vastly different. Golda was instrumental in the founding of the Jewish State while Emma was expelled from The United States as ‘the most dangerous woman in the world’.
