Tuesday 9.04.2024

Summary

In this lecture, David Peimer examines the lives of three great icons of ancient times, Cleopatra, Julius Caesar, and Mark Antony, questioning the boundary between myth and reality. He explores their depictions on stage and on screen in an effort to determine why they still fascinate and inspire today.
