Armenia and Its People from Prehistory to Modernity
Summary
We will look at how and why Armenia survived at the crossroads of civilisations, in particular its relationship with the Ottoman Empire. This talk is one of a series entitled “Wars of Ottoman Succession, 1918–2024,” in which we consider why so many contemporary conflicts have a common origin emerging from the end of the Ottoman Empire after the First World War.
