Summary

This presentation will focus on the Three Kingdoms period between 220 and 280 AD, in which Buddhism came to China and the two assimilated with each other. After 400 hundred years of wars, Emperor Wendi of the Sui dynasty unites China again.

Zvi Ben-Dor Benite teaches Chinese History, Middle Eastern and Islamic history, and sometimes Jewish history, at NYU.
