England Begins with Saxons and Normans
How to watch
Summary
This presentation will examine the modern day “indigenous” origins of the English peoples, from the Saxons of northwestern Europe in the 5th century after Rome abandoned the island in 410 CE, to the Normans, descendants of Viking invasions, in 1066. The fusion of the Saxons and Normans made the English who they are today.
