Chemi Peres is one of Israel’s foremost venture capital and innovation pioneers and entrepreneurs. He is an integral part of the thriving Israeli hi-tech scene and key player on the global entrepreneurial stage. He is the chairman of the Peres Centre for Peace and Innovation, founded in 1996 and built on the vision for coexistence of Chemi’s father, the late Israeli President and Prime Minister Shimon Peres. In his position as head of Pi tango Venture Capital, among other roles, Chemi has paved the way for numerous young enterprises which he has championed. His fundamentally humane belief—that innovation promotes peace while contributing to social development—and the actions resulting from it have had an impact far beyond the Middle East.
