Summary

Housed in the former orangerie of the Tuileries Palace, this museum owns the world famous circular rendition of Claude Monet’s lily ponds, as well as the rich Guillaume Walter collection of early modern art acquired by the French state under the most scandalous circumstances. The collection includes works by Renoir, Cezanne, Utrillo, Modigliani, Soutine, Matisse, and Picasso.
